Beastie Comic 2 Out takes!
The comic may of featured Spyro, but I decided against it!
He would.not.stay.still.
Then he tried to eat it.
Then he was blurry.
Gave up and tried Willow. She wouldn't stand up.

New way to detach limbs
When making the beasties I found the neatest, easiest way to detach the limbs was to use elastic hoops sewn into the limb for the buttons on the body.

Updates:
Ive now updated my concept document to change the 'portal gun' mechanic as feedback from my presentation found that it didn't fit the game. I also made the template sheets to be printed and laminated for my gift box and I made the box, I also need to add the socks and buttons, needles and thread.

Update:
Ive changed my first comic to how Mark suggested, and for the next comic, i'll leave the first page be, which is cartoon, then after that Beastie is lost and starts his journey, so here i'll do Marks other suggestion, using photos to create the scenes. So I can only do this once the Beasties are done. Ive done my sales pitch document, which is small and simple as that is not the focus of my project. So this week I will create the 'unmade Beastie gift box.
Then create my 2 Beasties, then finish my comic.

Notes on Jan 29th Presentation
Feedback to remember-
Change comic- no black background, cut down the text, make 2 new ones using photos of the beasties once they are made -choose which 2 comics to take forward.
On my final presentation-
Make my own slides- moving beasties, gifs, pop up, walking along bottom- slide background of socks etc.

Update Jan 2013:
So far I have completed the first comic, 'Wheres Dolly?' and will begin work on the second comic 'Origins'.
After this I'll research for my sales pitch and get to work on it.
Then its onto making the 2 Beastie teddies and the packaging box.
I am on track and I'm not worried as long as I don't struggle too much with the sale pitch document.
